Bob Jones received a BA (visual art) and an MFA (research) from COFA (UNSW). He has been exhibiting and teaching for 20 years and has had 16 solo commercial gallery exhibitions.
In Sydney he is represented by Defiance Gallery. In 2015 he engaged in an artist residency and cross cultural exchange program in Hong Kong and China, leading to an exhibition in Hong Kong in November 2015.
He has been a selected finalist over 20 times in many of Australia’s leading art prizes including NSW Parliament Plein Air Prize, Wynne Prize AGNSW, Dobell Prize AGNSW, Kedumba Drawing Award, Adelaide Perry Prize for Drawing and Paddington Art Prize. Read more OR Page link
